Nigeria the Frontier Hub of Africa Economy Roadshow 2016

Nigeria, Africa’s largest economy, remains the most promising market in Africa. With a population of over 170 million people, Nigeria undoubtedly provides the largest market for business in Africa. According to the UNCTAD, Nigeria has the third largest FDI stock in Africa — USD 81.9 billion (i.e. 12% of the total African stock) — after South Africa (USD 140 billion) and Egypt (USD 85 billion).

In Nigeria, thousands of opportunities exist for profitable investment in a range of sectors.

Strategically located with excellent access to many West African countries and abundantly blessed with significant natural resources, the Nigerian economy is largely driven by activities of private sector operators. The country also operates a taxation system that is business-friendly.

In recent times, business organisations from the European Union have been coming into Nigeria to invest.

Consequently, the Board of Directors of Nigerian-German Business Association (NGBA) cordially invites you to be part of a 4-day business/trade mission from Germany to Nigeria between 12th and 15th April 2016.

The delegation will be visiting Lagos, the commercial capital of Nigeria, and Abuja, the federal capital. There will be a symposium on Doing Business in Nigeria. The symposium will deliberate on the Nigerian Business Environment, including Legal, Finance and regulatory requirements.

There will be opportunities for B2B meetings between German businessmen and their Nigerian counterpart. Also, there will be company visitation, meeting with some ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, tour of the states and evening networking receptions both in Lagos and Abuja.
